Discover during the Absolu exhibition at the Fondation Bernardaud in 2024, Yu Tanaka is a Japanese ceramic artist renowned for her sculptural and poetic approach to stoneware. Captivated by the strength of her universe, we invited her for an exceptional artistic residency within the manufacture, this time working with porcelain. From this encounter were born three original pieces: two vases, directly inspired by Furoshiki, the ancestral Japanese art of fabric folding, which is a recurring them in her work. This collaboration, remarkable for the complexity of the forms achieved, perfectly embodies our commitment to pushing the boundaries of porcelain.

Please note that Bernardaud porcelain is also practical, easy to use daily, and perfectly supports dishwashers, traditional ovens, and microwaves (except models decorated with precious metals). All Bernardaud porcelain pieces, whether tableware, jewelry, candles, lamps, vases, or other decorative objects, can be cleaned very easily with a soft sponge, lukewarm water, and standard dish soap. However, be careful not to use the abrasive side of the sponge.
