Collection Braquenié

The Collection Braquenié is the result of a unique collaboration, the story of an encounter between textile and porcelain, between materials and colors, between two French Houses, Pierre Frey and Bernardaud. Our Limoges workshops have adapted onto porcelain the prints of two emblematic fabrics still published today, Grand Corail and La Ménagerie, created in the 19th century by the furniture textile company Braquenié, founded in 1823. Adorned with large flowers on tree-like stems and wild animals, the Collection Braquenié is distinguished by the richness of its decoration, the finesse of its motifs and its magnificent color palette. The ensemble evokes Indian palampores, richly decorated fabrics that were very popular in the 18th century.
