Zemer Peled was born in 1983. A graduate of the Royal College of Art in London, her work examines the beauty and brutality of nature. Her works are made up of thousands of pieces of porcelain shards, obtained from strips or slabs of raw or glazed porcelain that she makes and breaks. She then uses these fragments to build sculptures and installations of various sizes, present in many private collections around the world. The artist lives and works in Los Angeles.
