KAZUYO SEJIMA

Kazuyo Sejima is a Japanese architect known for designing buildings that blur the line between the interior and exterior, creating spaces that invite contemplation and wonder. She co-founded the architecture firm SANAA with Ryue Nishizawa. Her designs often feel light and pure, almost floating while harmoniously integrating nature and everyday life.

In 2010, Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa received the prestigious Pritzker Prize, the highest honor in architecture, recognizing their outstanding contribution to innovation and beauty in the field.
