ASAMI KIYOKAWA
Asami Kiyokawa is a contemporary artist and art director known for her unique style that combines embroidery, photography, books, and textiles. She has exhibited works both in Japan and abroad that visualize intangible concepts such as emotions, memories, and shifts in identity. She develops her work across a wide range of fields, including fine art, literature, fashion, and film. In addition to the public art installation Our New World at Tokyo Metro’s Toranomon Hills Station, she is also involved in educational and community cultural projects.
“Up until now, I have been creating works that give form to invisible emotions, memories, and imagination. In my collaboration with Bernardaud, I’ve infused the project with the hope that the boundaries between art and everyday life will naturally blur, transforming daily life into a beautiful garden where sensitivity and dialogue can flourish.
