オリジナルはリモージュのアドリアン・デュブーシェ国立博物館が所蔵の復刻版。ここには、ルイ16世とマリー=アントワネットの間の第一子となる、わずか8歳で亡くなったフランス王子の誕生を祝う姿が見られます。1781年、セーヴル製陶所は、王子の誕生を讃えるために、持ちうるすべての冨をこの作品につぎ込みました。
