After the tradition of the Indian designs created by French manufacturers in the 18th century, inspired by fabrics imported from the Indian trade posts, the Louisa engraving reveals its luxuriant flora as its delicately scented candle burns.

The Louisa candle tumblers are refillable. Their fragrances have been created by Olivia Giacobetti, exclusively for Bernardaud.

Immortelle : the warmth of everlasting flowers basking in the sunshine. They are called immortelles because their fragrance seems to linger forever.

For safely prolonging the life of your Bernardaud candle:

- The first time you burn your candle, allow it to burn for at least one hour until the whole top is liquid with wax, then 2 or 3 hours on future uses.

- Trim the wick regularly - by shortening the wick you allow it to burn more slowly and avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the porcelain. After blowing out your candle, re-center and straighten the wick.

- Choose an area free from drafts and do not move your candle while it is lit to avoid uneven burning.

- Never leave a lit candle unattended to avoid any fire risk. Always place your candle on a level, heat resistant, non-flammable surface away from fabric or drapes and out of children's reach.
